SlotsFunky is a one-person operation. That makes transparency about how content is produced more important, not less — there’s no editorial board to hide behind, which means the standards I hold myself to need to be clear and public.
Who Writes This Site
Everything on SlotsFunky is written by Marcus Lindberg. There are no anonymous contributors, no outsourced writers, and no AI-generated reviews. If a casino or slot is reviewed on this site, I tested it personally. If I haven’t tested it, it isn’t reviewed here.
How Casino Reviews Work
Every casino reviewed on SlotsFunky is tested directly — account registration, bonus claiming, gameplay, withdrawal request, and support interaction where possible. Reviews are scored across eight categories:
- Licensing & Regulation — the licence held, issuing authority, and any known regulatory history
- Bonus Quality — headline offer assessed against wagering requirements, max cashout, eligible games, and time limits

- Payout Speed — tested withdrawal times across available payment methods
- Mobile Experience — usability and performance on iOS and Android
- Customer Support — availability, response time, and quality
- Payment Methods — deposit and withdrawal options, fees, and processing times
- Security — SSL, data practices, and responsible gambling tool availability
Payout speed and licensing carry the highest weighting in the overall score. Bonus size carries a deliberately lower weighting — a large bonus with punishing wagering terms is worse for the player than a modest bonus with clean terms, and the score reflects that.
Only licensed operators are reviewed. No unlicensed casinos are listed on this site regardless of commercial terms offered.
How Slot Reviews Work
Every slot review is based on direct gameplay. I don’t publish reviews from press kits or developer briefings alone. Each review includes verified technical data (RTP, volatility, max win, grid, paylines or ways), bonus feature analysis from actual activation during testing, and an honest verdict on whether the game plays as its numbers suggest it should.
Where a developer publishes multiple RTP variants, I note this clearly and specify which variant applies in the market I tested.
